Tipping Waitresses...
Dine and Dash... Who becomes responsible when this situation arises in the restaurant industry? I have never worked at a restaurant so I'm not exactly sure how a situation like this is handled but after a conversation about dining and dashing it got me wondering. If you were at a restaurant for 3hrs, had to get your own drinks, and the waitress was down right horrible to the extent of asking for the ticket and never bringing it... Would you just leave? At some point the waitress has to realize she is doing something wrong and needs to get it together. Props to those waitresses out there who work there tails off just to be made to look bad by those who could careless. I usually tip the same no matter how good or bad the service is but after the conversation I had today I think I'll change my tipping based on the service provided!

we tip according to service of the individual waiter.Sometimes it isn't the waiter's fault just the managements for not having enough waiters.
ReplyDeleteBut you can usually judge that okay.
Waiters usually get pretty low basic pay I think.
